  • 真空镀膜技术的优点解密

如今随着智能终端、3C数码及非手机领域的工艺优化升级,衍生出很多跟塑胶材质制作出来的纹理有关的工艺,基本上都离不开真空镀膜工艺。通过真空镀膜工艺可以让产品在质感、色彩等方面更加具有档次,提升产品附加值。物联网硬件及电子烟的兴起也给真空镀膜产业带来更大的市场和想象空间。对于手板模型无论是外观手板还是结构手板模型也好,真空镀膜都是会经常需要用到的工艺。真空镀膜工艺的优点主要有以下几个方面:

1、使塑胶表面具有金属质感;因为相对于铝、铜、铁、不锈钢等金属部件来讲,塑胶部件的制造工艺具有得天独厚的大批量低成本易加工等优势,经过表面真空镀膜加工的塑胶部件在工业品的外观方面已经或正在越来越广泛的取代金属部件,从面大大降低工业及消费电子类产品的制造成本,提升和巩固了产品在同行业竞争中的价格优势。

2、赋予塑胶产品导电性能;相对于单纯的塑胶部件,真空镀膜加工后的塑胶产品可以根据使用场合的需要赋予产品良好的导电性能,比如大多数电子消费品加工制造过程强调的电磁屏蔽性能(EMI)即可通过在塑胶件内壁进行导电性真空镀膜加工的方式而获得,在相同地功效下,相对于原来采用铜箔或铝箔的制造工艺,真空镀膜EMI工艺具有无可比拟的成本优势。

3、可以进行不导电真空电镀(NCVM);对于工作过程中需要对外发射无线信号的电子消费品外观装饰件而言,需要塑胶件具有金属光泽的同时,还要保证塑胶表面的金属电镀层不会屏蔽或者衰减设备的无线电信号(比如蓝牙信号、射频信号等),不导电真空镀膜(NCVM)技术就应运而生了,这种真空镀膜技术既保证了塑胶表面的金属质感,又不会影响到设备对外的信号发射;相对于水电镀的镀层导电影响电子信号,不导电真空电镀(NCVM)工艺为广大的设计研发工程师提供了一种鱼和熊掌兼得的完美选择。

4、可以进行单层电镀;通俗的讲,可以单独对塑胶产品的外表面、或者单独对塑胶产品的内表面进行真空电镀加工,而另一表面可以保留塑胶原有的外观和功能,这一点相对于浸泡式作业的水电镀工艺而言又是一道无法跨越的坎。

5、电镀颜色多样化,真空电镀因其工艺的便利性,可以在红、黄、蓝三基色的基础上调整配方和比例从而形成千变万化的电镀颜色效果(比如粉色、红色、绿色等),而水电镀则只能制作光铬、哑铬、黑铬、白铬等寥寥可数的少数几种颜色效果,与真空电镀的颜色丰富程度不可同日而语。

6、材料适应范围广;水电镀通常只能对ABS塑胶和少量的ABS+PC塑胶材料上进行电镀加工,具有一定的局限性,而真空电镀工艺可以适用的塑胶材料范围相当广,除了ABS、ABS+PC塑胶之外,真空电镀还可以在PC、PP、PMMA、PA、PS、PET等常见工程塑胶表面加工出金属镀膜效果,随着技术的发展成熟,目前甚至可以在软性塑胶表面进行真空镀膜加工了,比如TPU、TPE、PVC软胶、硅胶、橡胶制品等。

7、可以进行半透明真空电镀;针对现代消费电子类产品越来越新潮的外形设计,现在前端的电子产品的隐藏式显示屏,即采用了半透明真空电镀技术,其原理是,在LED显示屏的外面配置一层经过半透明真空镀加工的透明塑胶视窗,在设备未开启的状态下,其LED显示面板是隐藏看不见的,当设备通电开启后,显示面板上的LED发光字体可以透过电镀塑胶视窗被消费者或者用户看到,从而大大提高产品的科技感和时尚感。
